For example, if you're an avid Gooner, you'd probably get more out of the Arsenal World site (as I do) than the official website, as there is a really good active forum and the posts placed by the authors are controversial at times but usually always interesting. The official site has its uses, like breaking stories or things like reserve game reviews but if you have a website of your own, you may well end up linking to Arsenal World site. Also, the Arsenal World site may have more fresher content than the official site so this helps the SEO rankings.
