I'd turned a few of my posts recently into xtranormal videos. I had noticed that it had trouble pronouncing malcolmcoles correctly when it tried to transcribe my URL.

Someone in my clearly massive fanbase has made a video in which the xtranormal characters argue with each other about how to do it properly. You may have to be me to find this funny.

I went on Sky News a couple of weeks ago to talk about the publishing of Baby Peter's killers' names on the internet - despite the court order banning naming them.

It took me about 2 hours of ripping, converting and crashing, but here I am (RSS readers: click through to the site to see it). Beware, I have a massive head. And I was in a pitch-black remote studio staring into a bright light, hence why I seem to be staring fixedly ahead ...:

thelondonpaper is closing - with a pre-tax loss of £12.9m last financial year on £14.1m turnover. Maybe if they'd sorted out their SEO strategy, they'd have got more website visitors and sold more adverts?

They have no meta descriptions on most of their pages. Although the meta description doesn't influence your position in google's search results, it does affect users' propensity to click on each result.

With no meta description, google has to guess what to show in its results - and here's what it shows for thelondonpaper's home page.
