Twitter adds nofollow to @names 1

Posted on February 17, 2010 by Malcolm Coles

I have a Firefox stylesheet that reveals which links are nofollow. And I'm fairly sure that, last time I looked, @ mentions of people's names weren't nofollowed - but now are, as this screenshot demonstrates.

Is this breaking news, or am I losing my mind?

Update I'm not. I've looked through the google cache of some tweets and this is new. And it seems I was beaten to the news ...
