Twitter redesigns ‘X is now following you’ email
Twitter has - finally - improved the email it sends to people to explain that someone is now following you. The old email told you how many followers they had, how many they followed and how many tweets they'd sent.
The new one, designed like the hovercard that appears when you're logged in on twitter.com and hover over someone's name, also gives you their location and bio. Quite why it's taken Twitter this long to include the bio info, I don't know, as it's fairly crucial in deciding whether to follow someone back. But Hooray.

Unless it's just a test of course ...
Never have I seen a blog post that resembles the importance and exhaustive elements of a broadsheet supplement so well!
Surely a paragraph of explanation and a couple of links would have sufficed?
I mean - finally - something that wasn't around three years back that I - somehow - managed to live without up till then is worthy of screenshots and an article in a blog I browsed.

Excellent - the bio was the obvious thing to include in there, it was always weird to include their pic & number of followers but not tell you who they were!
But my faovurite bit it is reiterating who 'you' are - I have several twitter accounts and all the notifications come into a single mailbox, it wasn't always obvious which account the follower had, err, followed.
Good spot - hadn't noticed that. Possibly as I have only one account
