		<description>I very much doubt that this is a mistake on Twitter&#039;s behalf.  Twitter probably don&#039;t want Google indexing their data.  After all, the data they capture is their only asset, and letting Google have access to could undermine their value.</description>

		<description>Really good points. I think Twitter is definitely on &#039;catch up&#039; for all these things, probably due to the sudden popularity. Keeping the Fail Whale away is probably top of the list right now, but this SEO stuff needs attention too.</description>

		<description>I&#039;m fairly sure that their resident marketing droid will do their very best to keep these meta-tags useless. 

Hopefully there are some C-level execs at Twitter with a bent for utility over branding with enough power to override the droids. :-)</description>
